Kyle's Lock-street December 3rd

Lock-street December 3rd

As many of you are aware, the intricacies of proper betting are formed by analyzing every aspect of a team, then utilizing that knowledge to see how they match up every week. You then develop that knowledge for each team so you have the ability to diversify your betting. After years of diagnosing teams, coaches, players, injuries, the affect of home turf, and weather, I can safely say that sports gambling is unpredictable.

Have you ever watched an NFL game and thought to yourself, “Wait, what the Fuck just happened?” It's because the ball has a mind of it’s own. On Thursday, I bet the Eagles. I did not believe they were as shitty as their record, but I quickly found out that they were even worse. That idiot Cooper cost them 14 points, including one that went right through his hands. Or how about recently, with Wisconsin down 6 to UNC with 4 seconds left, a player heaves an unnecessary half-court shot that goes in, cutting the win by 3 points. Needless to say, it screwed some bettors. Since this rant is over, the locks of the weeks are below.

Saturday

12pm

Houston (-13) vs. Southern Miss

While southern Miss has had a breakthrough season, it is nothing compared to Houston’s. Houston’s offense has been unbelievable this season, average 52.7 points a game. Their offense is ranked number 1 in college in yards per game. They might be the greatest show on turf. Bet for Houston to dominate this C-USA title game.

2:30pm

TCU vs. UNLV (o-57) the spread in this game is absurd. TCU is -38.5, but UNLV is just bad enough where I wouldn’t touch that. Normally, I would think a 38.5 point spread would be a lock, but that’s the difference between college and the NFL. The Horned Frogs of TCU are looking to three-peat the title of the Mountain West division before moseying on over to the ultra competitive Big 12

Trap Game:

Oklahoma vs. OSU.

The biggest game of the weekend is Oklahoma State vs. Oklahoma. Number 10 Okla, is playing number 3 Ok ST in what will be a fun game to watch. Either way, I would recommend watching due to the affects of the BCS Championship this imposes. Did I also mention that these teams also hate each other?

Sunday NFL

1:00pm

Atlanta (-3) vs. Houston

Two weeks ago, I would have said the Texans even with Schaub being out, but since their back-up, Matt Leinart, is now lost for the season, it is up to third stringer Yates. This QB is young, inexperienced, and will not be able to handle trying to match Matt Ryan and their potent offense

4:15pm

Greenbay (-7) vs. Giants

Sorry G-men, but this season was just not meant to be. After this loss, they should be looking into next year as their hopes of making a playoff run will essentially be closed. On the other side, Aaron Rodgers might be having the greatest season of any QB in NFL history
